Is your life affected in some way by mental health invisible disability? Do you struggle with understanding what mental illness is? Do you know of someone who struggles to be understood?
“Hiding” is a one-act/one-woman play that illuminates knowledge, empathy and compassion for persons who struggle with dissociation. It will be used to comfort those who struggle, to know they are visible and not alone, to help train professionals and support persons, and to reduce the stigma of mental illness in general.
“Hiding” is beginning its initial production stage using a community volunteer force and we need a few micro-sponsors to help us cover the art and craft supplies to build and paint the set, print the playbills, any rent for production space, and assorted odds and ends. My goal is to get $250.00 together for these purposes.
Micro-sponsors and business sponsors will receive a receipt for tax purposes, their name and logo on all digital and printed “Hidden” products and materials, and a great big mushy thank you at each performance.
Sponsorships at $50.00 or greater can choose an original painting from my working studio as a thank-you gift.
